Take Durand Avenue to either Wisconsin Street, 90th Street, or Oakes Road and go North, then turn right on Washington Avenue (Hwy 20) and we’re on the left, at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Emmertsen Road. We have evening and Saturday hours and you can make an appointment online here or by calling us at 1-888-456-1953.
The Village of Sturtevant is located in Racine County, just minutes from the Geraci Law LLC Racine office on Highway 20. The Village of Sturtevant was incorporated in 1907 as Parkersville. The name would change to Western Union Junction and Corliss before finally settling on Sturtevant in 1923, named for the B.F. Sturtevant Company that relocated to the Southeast Wisconsin village from Massachusetts.
A small village in size at 4.19 square miles, Sturtevant is home to approximately 7,000 people (per the 2010 U.S. census). Despite its small size, several industrial and manufacturing companies are located in Sturtevant. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections also employs many people in the area, with the Racine Correctional Institution and Sturtevant Transitional Facility both located in Sturtevant.
Many travelers also pass through the Sturtevant Depot, a stop on Amtrak’s Hiawatha Line between Chicago and Milwaukee. This also provides those living in and around Sturtevant with easy access to all Chicago and Milwaukee have to offer. Shoppers have a nearby haven at the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets, just a short 20 minute drive from Sturtevant.
The Geraci Law Racine office serves clients from Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties, and even a few from Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. The Chapter 7 bankruptcy hearings for Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties are held at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol, WI, at the intersection of Highways 50 and 45. The Chapter 13 bankruptcy hearings for Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties are held at the Racine County Public Works Building on Washington Avenue in Sturtevant, WI, about one mile west of Highway 94/41 and about five miles west of the Geraci Law Racine office.
